—   PERMANENT MAKEUP AND BROWS—

What is microblading?

Microblading is a semi permanent tattooing technique performed with a Hand tool that implants hair-like stroke into your eyebrows that mimic your natural hair growth. We are able to deposit pigment into your skin giving you a desired, ideal brow shape. The results are realistic and the results last 1.5 years plus. At your consultation we can discuss brow shapes suited to you, pigment colour and answer all your questions.

The initial procedure takes about 2 hours and the touch up done 4-6 weeks later takes about 1 hour.

What  is the healing time?

Healing takes about 7-10 days in which your brow may or may not scab depending on your skin. There will be some oxidation in the first 2-3 days in which the brow colour may appear darker, but once the top layer of skin sheds, it will reveal a lighter colour. Full healing may take 25-30 days where you will see the true colour push through

Am I a candidate?

The following list of conditions and/or situations are contraindicated for microblading and will determine whether or not you are a candidate:

  • Eczema (in the eyebrow area)

  • Psoriasis (in the eyebrow area)

  • Keratosis Pilaris (in the eyebrow area)

  • Dermatitis (itchy and flaky skin in the eyebrow area)

  • Moles/Bumps/Piercings, Raised Skin (in eyebrow area)

  • Trichotillomania (in eyebrow area)

  • Botox (must wait 3 weeks following botox if in brow area)

  • Sunburn/Suntan (in brow area - must wait until skin returns to normal color)

  • Vacationing (make sure to plan your vacation at least two weeks following your microbladed eyebrows so that they have time to heal before "fun in the sun")

  • Hemophilia (excessive bleeding if microbladed)

  • Pregnant (Absolutely not!)

  • Breast-feeding (Absolutely not!)

  • Rosacea (skin too sensitive and will not hold color)

  • Sensitive Skin (skin too sensitive will not hold color)

  • Chronic Acne/Excessively Oily Skin (hairstrokes will blur together)

  • Large Pores (in eyebrow area will cause hairstrokes to blur together)

  • Deep Wrinkles (the result will appear uneven)

  • Natural Redhead (skin is too sensitive and will not hold color)

  • Thin-Skinned (skin to fragile and hypersensitive)

  • Previous Permanent Eyebrows (microblading will not implant properly)

  • Accutane (severe acne medication creates tissue-thin skin - must wait an entire year following Accutane usage to regain skin integrity)

  • Retin-A (creates very thin skin and must wait one year following usage of this product)

  • Retinol/Vitamin A (discontinue the use of these products on forehead/brow area for at least 30 days prior to microblading procedure)

  • Autoimmune Diseases (such as Lupus, Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia - skin health is too compromised for microblading)

LIPS

Lip Blushing is a form of permanent makeup to give the lips a natural lip stain. The technician uses a digital tattoo machine with a fine needle to pt pigment onto the lips. The pigment is implemented into the dermis, giving a color-from-within effect. The basic proceudre implies outlining or countouring the lips and filling them in with color, but aquarelle lips have emerged as a more subtle spin-off.

Aquarelle lips are a special lip blushing technique which gives a lipgloss effect, rather than a full-on, opaque lipstick look. The most prominent difference between aquarelle lips and the traditional lip blush is the fact that there is no distinctive contouring with aquarelle lips, as the desired result is a soft, blurred effect. Think aquarelle or watercolor paintings, from which the treatment gets its name: subtle transition of shades, luminous, almost transparent colors with no sharp edges.

This effect is created by adding layers of shade in the chosen color in multiple passes, building the concentration of pigment to a desired saturation. By meticulous color placement, the technician can slightly modify the shape of the lips to take care of any possible asymmetry and diminish the look of any scars and discoloration. But remember, the point is for the lips to look natural, so they won’t be erased completely.

Procedure takes 2.5 hours followed by a touchup 6-8 weeks later.

Healing takes about 5 days.

Eyeliner Tattoo is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo on the lash line to enhance the shape and size of the eye

We offer two types of eyeliner tattoo. Classic eyeliner is the tradition liner with a wing. Soft eyeliner is a softer ombre effect liner with focus on the lash line.
