What is Micro-needling?

Micro-needling is a minimally-invasive procedure that uses a handheld device containing very fine needles that inflict micro-punctures to the skin. These controlled injuries trigger the skin’s natural repair processes, stimulating collagen and elastin production. This procedure is most commonly used to help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, and skin texture.

Studies have shown that micro-needling the skin can produce up to 400% more collagen and elastin 6 months after the procedure!

Treatments can be done 4-6 weeks apart which is about the time it takes for cellular turnover, with a recommendd 3 treatments for optimal results.

We use an FDA and Health Canada approved device called Innopen along with Procell Therapies made of synthetic stem cells to promote collagen production and give you smoother, younger looking skin. This treatment has been shown to drastically improve acne scars and fine lines.
